Aloha! ‘Catching Fire’ may film arena scenes in Kauai, Hawaii
According to our friends over at Hypable, it looks like Lionsgate will film the arena scenes for the upcoming ‘Catching Fire’ movie in and around the island of Kauai.
Well sourced news reporter Russ Bowen shared on Twitter that filming for the big arena scenes will be happening in Kauai, Hawaii, one of the state’s islands. Currently they plan to film in Kauai during the last three weeks of the production.
In addition, a Lionsgate photographer recently visited Henry River in North Carolina (where the Seam scenes were filmed), and shooting there is to take place in early fall.
We’re just so freaking excited that pre-production is starting very soon for ‘Catching Fire’!
