The 13-year-old Los Angeles native utilized her big break after working years in the underground. Since the age of four, Stenberg done everything from modeling shoots to commercials for Kmart to playing a young Zoe Saldana in Colombiana. Guess that’s why Amandla (which means “power” in Zulu) is growing to be a force in Hollywood.

With a determined spirit, true grit, and a professional demeanor that beguiles her years, Amandla Stenberg has a bright and positive future ahead of her. The most impacting item to note is that Stenberg is an advocate much like her fellow stars of the next millennium.
