Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Assassin's Creed: Revelations Preview

Thrilling historical adventure with Ezio, Altaïr and Desmond

  • Great graphics and sound
  • Good conclusion to Ezio's story
  • Expanded mutiplayer mode

  • Some repetitive missions
  • No huge improvements over Botherhood

Very good

Assassins Creed Revelations sees you back in the shoes of Ezuo Auditori, as well as Desmond Miles and Altaïr. The story takes place in a wonderfully recreated Constantinople. It's got great production values and is a really enjoyable action adventure game.

The sprawling story of the series means that coming to Assassins Creed Revelations fresh will seem a little confusing. However, this is a high quality third person action game with excellent gameplay, great graphics and sound, and is well worth playing. Constantinople looks amazing and is a fantastic place to explore.

For fans of the franchise, Assassins Creed Revelations will be a satisfying end to Desmond and Ezio's story. There is also an extensive multiplayer mode, that has expanded on that seen in the previous game, Brotherhood. Overall, though Assassins Creed Revelations doesn't offer any great improvements. A good game, but not a revolution!

Fans will want to see how the story plays out, and newcomers will find plenty to enjoy in Assassins Creed Revelations.
